Remote meter reading applications
The use of wireless data acquisition systems in meter reading saves manpower as the readings can be communicated automatically to the operation centre. The IN4MA pc can operate in a number of different ways to suit the application and can be housed in IP68 (submersible) enclosures and therefore located in flowmeter chambers that are prone to flooding.
The use of wireless slaves is an advantage when there are a number of meters to be read within a region. Data is transmitted using radio waves to a local master where it is logged and forwarded to the operation centre. This means installation is very quick and easy, and running costs are kept to a minimum as there is just one GSM connection for many meters.
There are a number of different ways the data can be presented. We offer bespoke software solutions, or we can make the data available to your third part software systems.
