Telemetry for Control
08 January 2005Powelectrics have proven Telemetry for control by developing an automatic start and remote monitoring system for diesel generators and pumps.
As well as operating in manual where the user can start and stop the generator by the turn of a key, the system can be put into automatic mode and starts if the high level is reached. The unit will then stop pumping when the low level is reached. All the time the engine is running the IN4MA counts hours run and advises the owner when a service is due as well as sending text message alarms if there is an oil pressure or an engine temperature problem.
As well as receiving alarms from pumps that are either faulty or being abused, the owner of the equipment is able to view historical data as to when a pump started, stopped or when an alarm occurred.
