How often are readings taken?
This is user programmable and application dependant. In a typical tank level monitoring application we will take a tank level reading once per hour and data uploaded to the internet once or twice per day.
This is fine if the process is slow moving, which is true normally when tank levels are being monitored, but with remote industrial monitoring this may not be the case. We offer solutions that can handle large amounts of data.
The IN4MA-pc for example has 16 MB of data storage available, and 16 analogue input channels which can be connected to different sensors and instruments. This device can store data up to 40,000 records.
